폭도 80명이 SEHWA(970-1120)를 기습하여 주민 2명을 살해하고 4명을 부상케 했으며 국민학교와 면사무소를 불질렀다. 폭도들을 물리치기 위해 경찰이 급파되었고, 경찰은 폭도 1명을 사살하고 5명을 포로로 붙잡았다.

Rebels Seize Police Arms in Increased Attacks
On CHEJU-DO a force of 80 raiders entered the village of SEMA (970-130), killed 2 civilians, wounded 4, and then burned a primary school and a myon office. Police sent to intercept the rebels killed 1 and captured 5.
