c. 1949년 5월 26일에서 6월 2일의 기간에 실시된 작전에서 한국 국방경비대 본부는 지리산에서 게릴라 51명이 사망했거나 부상당했으며 13명이 생포되었다고 보고했다. 38선 남쪽과 38선에 인접한 지역에서 46명이 사망했거나 부상당했으며 11명이 생포되었다. 전라남도에 있는 순천에서 23명이 사망했거나 부상당했으며 5명이 생포되었다. 그리고 제주도에서 11명이 생포되었다. 이 시기 동안의 사상자 총수는 다음과 같다. 120명이 사망했거나 부상당했으며 40명이 생포되었다.

c. During operations for the period, 26 May to 2 June 1949 Korean Constabulary Headquarters reports 51 guerrillas killed or wounded and 13 captured in the Chiri-San area (1071-1374); 46 killed or wounded and 11 captured in the area adjacent to and south of the 38° North Parallel; 23 killed or wounded and 5 captured at Sunchon (1010-1320) in the Cholla Namdo Province; and 11 captured at Cheju-Do Island. Total for the period, 120 [illegible] killed or wounded and 40 captured.
