CHEJU-DO: CHEJU-DO (960 - 1140) - (Delayed) - During the period 3-4 April 48, a series of Leftist instigated raids on police boxes resulted in the deaths of four policemen, nine Rightists and three Leftist civilians. Additional casualties include five police wounded and sixteen Rightists injured. Three policemen and four Rightists are reported missing. Six U.S. Carbines and one Jap rifle together with a total of 119 rounds of ammunition were captured by the raiders. (A-1)
