최근 제주에서 주민 약 50명이 밤중에 행정기관의 곡물수집 공무원 3명을 공격했다. 공격자 중 한 사람이 던진 돌멩이에 의해 공무원 숙소의 등불이 꺼지면서 공격은 시작되었다. 폭도들이 공무원 3명을 몽둥이로 구타했다. 다음 날 경찰은 혐의자 3명을 체포했다. (방첩대 정기보고)

(6) Grain Collection Officials Attacked
Approximately 50 persons made a recent night attack against three provincial government grain collection officials in CHEJU (950-1150). At the start of the attack a lighted lantern in the officials' quarters was snuffed out by a stone thrown by one of the attackers. The mob then beat the three officials with sticks. Police arrested three suspects the following day. (CIC S/I)
