경비대 작전
제11연대가 제주도에서 벌인 6주 동안의 작전을 요약하면 약 4000여 명의 혐의자가 심사를 받았고, 심문을 거쳐 500여명이 구금됐다. 폭도 22명이 사망했고 무기 50점이 압수됐다. 경비대 사상자는 사고로 3명이 사망하고, 작전중에 2명이 중태에 빠졌다. 일기 상황 때문에 작전을 중지해야 했다.(B-2)

3. Constabulary operations - A summarization of the 11th Regiments 6 weeks of operation on Cheju-Do discloses that approximately 4,000 suspects were screened and about 500 detained after interrogation. 22 raiders were killed

and about 50 weapons captured. Constabulary casualties were 3 killed accidentally, and two fatally wounded in operations. Weather conditions also forced suspension of operations. (B-2).
