5월 6일 새벽 3시 30분 폭도 45명이 MUL RUMOW(923-1116) 지서를 공격했다. 경찰이 폭도들을 격퇴했다. 폭도 1명이 사살되었다. 폭도들은 미제 카빈총 탄환 5발, 일본제 소총 탄환 90발, 일본도 1개, 휘발유 8병을 버리고 도망했다. (경찰보고)

a. Police Box Attacked in CHEJU DO
At 060330 May 45 raiders attacked a police sub-station at MUL RUMOW (923-1116). Police repelled the attack killing one of the rioters. The attackers abandoned five rounds of American carbine ammunition, 90 rounds of Japanese rifle ammunition, one Japanese sword and eight bottles of gasoline. (Police rpt)
