법률위반 - 압수된 6월 18일자 편지는 재판을 기다리고 있는 죄수도 뇌물만 제공하면 석방된다는 것을 확인하고 있다. 제주도의 김창엽에게 보낸 편지에서 부산 거주의 이창래는 다음과 같이 쓰고 있다. “수감 중인 당신의 형님 김창관은 5만 원의 돈만 쓴다면 20일 내에 석방될 수 있다. (중략) 공사다망 중이시겠지만 부산으로 와서 이 문제를 의논합시다.”

(1) Law Violations - An intercepted letter dated 18 June discloses that freedom of a prisoner awaiting trial is offered for a bribe. Writing to KIM, Tchang Yawp of CHEJU Island (950-1130) (33° .24'N-126°34'E), LEE, Tchang Lai, the writer in PUSAN, states: "Your elder brother, (KIM, Tchang Kawn) who was put in jail, can be set free if you use about 50,000 yen for him in less than about twenty days... Please come to PUSAN, no matter how busy you may be, and discuss this affair".
