(2) 3월 10일부터 12일까지 한국군의 작전 결과는 다음과 같다.
한국군은 M-1 소총 1정과 카빈 소총 3정, 일본제 소총 8정을 되찾았다. (B-2)
논평 : 토벌대가 폭도들의 사상자수에 비해 상대적으로 적은 수의 무기를 노획한 것은 제주도 폭도들이 비교적 소량의 무기만을 보유하고 있음을 보여주는 좋은 증거이다.

(1) National Police report the following recapitulation of police actions on CHEJU-DO during the period 24 February to 7 March:
Rebel casualties: Killed – 98
Captured – 64
Police captured 1 carbine, 1 Japanese rifle, and many leftist documents.
(2) Results of Korean Army action CHEJU-DO for period 10-12 March follow:
Rebel casualties: Killed – 22
Captured – 16
Korean Army casualties: Killed – 3
Wounded – 2
The Korean Army recovered 1 M-1 rifle, 3 carbines, and 8 Japanese rifles. (B-2)
COMMENT: The relatively small number of arms confiscated by security forces, as compared to the number of rebels killed or captured, is a good indication of the comparatively few weapons possessed by rebels on CHEJU-DO.
