제주도 제주읍에서 보안대 대원 154명이 붙잡혔다. 몽둥이를 소지한 20명의 다른 한국인도 붙잡혔다. 한 건물의 2층에 구금되어 있었던 한라단 단원 10명이 보안대 대원들에게 폭행을 당하고 있었다. 보안대에 대해 추가 조사중이다.

a. Civil Disturbances.
(2) 154 members of the Ho Han Tai Society were taken into custody at CHEJU (951 - 1151) on the Island of CHEJU-DO. 20 other Koreans armed with clubs were also picked up. 10 members of the Hala Dan Society confined in the upper story of a building there, were being beaten by members of the Ho Han Tai. Further investigation of this Society is being made.
