엔에세이호에 관한 추가 정보(46년 7월 1일자 <일일정보보고> 제256호 참조): 엔에세이호는 블라디보스톡에서 다롄 인근의 항구로 항해하고 있었다. 순환장치가 고장나 제주도 연안에 정박해야만 했다. 승객은 러시아 민간인과 여자, 어린이, 육해군 소속의 군인들이다. 승객수를 확인하기는 불가능하다. 엔에세이호는 굴뚝 1개가 있는 약 1만t급 선박으로 추정된다. 러시아기가 선미에 펄럭이고 있다. 선박은 레이다 장비를 갖추고 있는 것으로 보인다. 7월 3일 오전 러시아 구축함 ‘No. 3 K-8’이 이 선박을 지원하기 위해 제주도 연안에 도착했다. 제20연대의 보초병은 구축함이 처음 나타난 7월 3일 오전에 잠수함 2척을 보았다고 보고했다. 미 C-47 수송기가 7월 3일 오후에 수색했지만 잠수함 출현 보고를 입증하지는 못했다.

5. Miscellaneous.
b. The following additional information regarding ship "ENESSEY" (reference G-2 Report #256, 1 July 46) was obtained: The ship was enroute from VLADIVOSTOK to port near DAIREN. Broken circulating system forced ship to anchor off CHEJU Island. Passengers are Russian civilians, women, children, and Navy and Army personnel. It was impossible to determine the total number of passengers aboard. Ship's capacity is estimated at 10,000 tons, with one smoke stuck. Russian flag is flying on stern of ship. Ship believed to have radar equipment. On the morning of 3 July, a Russian destroyer, #3K-8, arrived off CHEJU Island to assist the ship. "ENESSEY". 20th Infantry guard reported seeing two submarines on the morning of 3 July when destroyer first appeared. A search during the afternoon of 3 July by a U. S. C-47 failed to verify report of submarines.
