본토 경찰 100명 제주도에 추가 배치
제주도의 제51야포병대대 소속 ‘B’포병소대는 총인원이 330명이었던 제주경찰에 본토 경찰 100명이 추가됨으로써 제주도의 경찰력이 강화됐다고 보고했다. 이들 430명 가운데 150명은 제주읍에 배치돼 있다. 장교 6명과 사병 110명으로 구성된 경비대 1개 중대가 모슬포에 주둔해 있지만 그들은 수송수단이 부족해 제주경찰을 지원할 수 없다.

a. General Conditions.
(4) The Btry "B", 51st FA Bn platoon on CHEJU Island reports that the 330 local policemen have been reinforced by 100 additional police from the mainland. 150 of these 430 policemen are stationed in the city of CHEJU (961 - 1151). A constabulary company of six officers and 110 enlisted men is stationed at MOSULPO (524 - 1117), but, since they lack transportation, they cannot support the police at CHEJU.
