(XTRACT: XXIV Corps G-2 Periodic Report #632, 13 September 47): "Rifle, 105 MM Ammunition Found Off CHEJU-DO - A cache of Japanese ammunition was discovered in the water off HALLE, HALLIM Myon, CHEJU-DO. Found were approximately six to seven thousand rounds of rifle ammuniton and about 20 rounds of 105 MM ammunition. This ammunition was buried by the Japanese during the war. Diving girls discovered the cache." Condition unknown. 2. Counterintelligence. Subversive Activity. a: Terrorism. (2) (EXTRACT: XXIV Corps G-2 Periodic Report #632, 13 September 47): "From CHEJU (950 - 1150) comes the report that the 47 year-old wife of a prominent dentist in that town was beaten on 7 September 47 and is now recovering from a broken arm. A preliminary check shows that just prior to this assault a telephone call was received by her and some unknown person, who claimed to be a police representative, said he wanted to be ,liqned entrance to the house to search for papers. A check by CIC at the telephone office revealed that the only call to this house had been made from the home of a high provincial official who is reputed to be an advisor to the Right Wing 'Kwang Bok Young Men's Association'."
