인천에서 오던 군 보급선인 FS급 제373호가 12월 17일 야간 만조 때 제주항 입구에서 북동쪽으로 300야드 떨어진 곳에 좌초됐다. 구조요원들이 부산에서 도착해 구조작업이 좌초된 지 약 1주일 뒤에 시작됐다. 승무원들은 이 부대에 체류하고 있다. 선박의 최종 처리는 현재 알려지지 않았다.

Army Supply Ship, FS 373 from Inchon, ran aground about 300 yards NE of entrance to Cheju Harbor during high seas
on the night of 17 December. Salvage personnel arrived from Pusan, and work was begun about one week after the event occurred. Members of the crew are billeted with this organization.
Final disposition of ship is at present unknown.
