1. 1st Lt Fred V. Erricson 01823279 provided invaluable assistance to this regiment through his superior work as an observation pilot from 10 October 1948 to date. Numerous times Lt Fred M. Erricson reported gatherings of raiders, raider headquarters, and fighting between our troops and raiders. This accurate information enabled the 9th Regiment to quickly dispatch troop and quell the disorders.
2. The 9th Regiment Korean Army, sincerely appreciates the capable assistance given us by 1st Lt Fred M. Erricon.
